Hasna Haddiyah Choreographies

Past choreographies include Drum Solos, Raqs Sharqi, Flamenco Fusion, Karsilama, Nubian, Raqs Assaya, Moroccan, Khaleegy, Tribal Fusion, Tunisian, and Veil.  The Hasna Haddiyah team has performed for the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, Eastern Washington University, the Fall Folk Festival, Gonzaga University, the Spirit Lake Music Festival, Hillyard Festival, and other special events.  Please see "News" for past performances.   Students must be pre-approved before enrolling.

Students are provided class and event updates through the Hasna Haddiyah Yahoo Group.  

General Class Information

Classes take place at The Warehouse, 800 N. Hamilton St., Spokane, WA. (Map).  Enter through the Hamilton street entrance and follow the stairs to the studio.  Please arrive 5 minutes before class with water and wear relaxed, comfortable clothing. Hip scarves and jazz boots are preferred, but optional.  Nadiyah has finger cymbals available to purchase.  

All sizes, colors, and fitness levels are welcome.  Ages 12 - 100+ are permitted in regular classes, and younger ages can be taught through specialized programs.  Each sudent is responsible for letting Nadiyah know of any pre-existing physical conditions and for seeking advice from a physician prior to starting a new regime. Lesson plans are provided by email in PDF format. All visitors must be pre-approved, and class previewing is permitted during the first 15 minutes of class only. There are no refunds unless Nadiyah's schedule changes.

Alexandra King taught a variety of techniques in 2004 and 2005.

Nadiyah hosts outside instructors in workshops as well.  Past workshops showcase Aisha Ali, Aleili, Alexandra King, Amar Gamal, Bozenka, Cassiopea, Dahlena Genova, Eva Cernik, Hala Fouzi, Kami Liddle, Kelli Marie Neumeyer, Margo Abdo O'Dell, Rachel Brice, Shareen el Safy, Sonia, Tempest, Zaina Hart, and  Zoe Jakes.

Nadiyah is also available to teach at your next event.  She has taught all ages and has produced original choreographies for schools, bachelorette parties, corporatations, and individuals.  Contact Nadiyah for rates and availability.
